Building on the success of their previous protest, Brookfield Citizens Against Injection Wells and their supporters will again bring their anti-injection well message to a growing audience.
When: Both protests start at 4 PM to 6:30 PM on Friday, April 27, 2018 and Saturday, April 28, 2018
Where: Brookfield, Ohio village green - Brookfield Center, Brookfield, Ohio 44403 (on State Route 7 near Warren Sharon Road)
These events will be peaceful protests in Brookfield at the village green to oppose five proposed toxic fracking waste injection wells planned to be sited way too near family homes, businesses, and government buildings.
These five injection wells and others must be lawfully stopped!
We believe that injection wells pose unacceptable risks to public health, safety, welfare, and the environment. Injection wells have been linked to man-made earthquakes, spills, or pollution that negatively impact water, air, and land.
Brookfield Citizens Against Injection Wells (BCAIW) is coordinating these events. Frackfree America National Coalition, based in Youngstown, Ohio, is helping to coordinate alongside Brookfield residents.
Bring your signs and lawn chairs, if you like, as we help to raise public awareness of why the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) must immediately revoke the drilling permits for these five proposed fracking waste injection wells in order to protect public health, safety, welfare, and private property rights and values.
Thanks in advance for your help!
